On the 21st of May I married my best friend. That may sound cliche because everyone says it, but maybe they are the best words to describe how you've come to love, grow and appreciate someone. It's hard to express feelings for someone I think is as close to perfect as a person can be.
Mitch has more patience than anyone I've ever met. Patience has never been a strong point for me. There is something about having so much patience, understanding, and kindness that demands a deep level of respect and admiration. He has a gift of listening, then thinking, and then responding.
Mitch is one of the hardest workers I know. He is always out to help and serve others. He is also an incredible artist, creator, and envision-er. He is a huge help to me in everything I do. How many of your husbands helped you write thank you notes after your wedding? That was true love.
One of my favorite things to do is watch Mitch watch the mountains. He is definitely one of those gifted people that never takes the beautiful things around us for granted. I love him with all of my heart.
I couldn't be married to a better person. I am so lucky I get to be with him. He makes life that much happier.
I also couldn't have asked for a more perfect wedding. I have the greatest parents in the world who talked about and helped me with every little detail (I think we are relieved that we can talk about other things now). My parents, Mitch's parents, our siblings - so many people - pulled it all together and it turned out SO beautiful! They put so much time into making it the best day ever. I love you all!
Mitch and I were able to spend our honeymoon on Oahu in Hawaii! It was AWESOME. We didn't want to come back. The weather was beautiful. We got to stay on the North Shore (the best place to stay in Hawaii - out of the city!), we saw sea turtles, went snorkeling, went on three different hikes, drank from the same coconut as a homeless man, ran on the trails by the ocean, did a temple session, hung out on the beach, went to the PCC, Pearl Harbor, swat meet, Dole Plantation, drove for over two hours trying to find this breakfast place we thought was close, chased the crabs, and the list goes on. It was so much fun. We had the BEST view from our hotel room. We stayed at Turtle Bay resort. We could open up the shutters to our balcony, watch the ocean from the fourth floor while we lay in bed listening to the waves crash. It was so much fun. We will remember it forever.

It sounds like you guys had a blast in Hawaii! Can't wait to see pics. Maybe someday we'll see you guys again :)
